My dear friend, former asst. and protege, and present-day spiritual advisor, Sue Samour McKeon, is in Minneapolis this week for a convention. (Sue is VP-Mktg. for the North Carolina Orchestra in Raleigh). So off to dinner this former Cosmo Girl and her old boss go to some trendy watering hole in the Twin Cities. We shared the entree (fab pasta dish) and an evening of remembrances of the good old days. They were good, and we agreed that we'd been blessed to have worked with the legendary Helen Gurley Brown -- the Number 1 Cosmo Girl!
HGB is as smart, effective, and successful as any executive we've ever met. And the lessons Sue, I and countless other Cosmo Girls (and Boys) learned, were priceless.
